§ 22-2. Inspection and enforcement.

(a)

This chapter may be enforced by the sheriff's department, the engineering department, the planning and zoning department, the marshal's department, or other person designated by the board of commissioners.

(b)

The department of engineering shall have the authority to issue a stop work order to obtain compliance with this article.

(c)

The board of commissioners through their designated representatives or staff shall cause inspections as necessary to determine whether the applicant has complied with the provisions of this chapter requiring cessation or limitation of activity and to determine whether the applicant has complied with the terms of the permit as issued by the board of commissioners or as modified by the superior court or other reviewing court.
