§ 2-51. Quorum.

  • A quorum must be present for conducting meetings of the board of commissioners. A quorum shall be any three commissioners then in office or the chair and any two commissioners then in office. Any commissioner may raise a point of order directed to the chair if he believes that a quorum is not present. If, during the course of a meeting, a commissioner leaves and a quorum no longer exists, the meeting cannot continue as to official action. If a quorum is not attained within 30 minutes, and if there is official business left to be taken, the meeting will be rescheduled by the chair with the approval of the commissioners present.
