§ 50-66. Animals.

  • No person shall bring any animal on a multi-use trail except when such animal is under the direction and control of its owner and is secured by a leash, chain, or lead of sufficient strength to prevent it from escaping from its owner. As used in this section, the term "animal" shall include any type of animal, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats and horses. Representatives of the animal control department, county marshal's office and officers of the county sheriff's department are hereby authorized to issue a summons and citation to any person for violation of this section.
