§ 62-6. Truck routes—Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Truck means a motor vehicle having a gross vehicular weight rating (G.V.W.R.) in excess of 36,000 pounds or having an overall length in excess of 30 feet, except vehicles designed to carry passengers.

    Truck route means any road or portion thereof, within the unincorporated county limits, over which trucks are not prohibited to operate by the provisions of section 62-7.
