§ 6-142. Restaurant.

  • (a)

    In order to be eligible for a consumption on the premises license, an eating establishment must:

    (1)

    Be used and held out to the public as a place where meals are regularly served to the public for adequate pay;

    (2)

    Contain one or more public dining rooms, with adequate and sanitary full service kitchen facilities and staff to prepare, cook, and serve suitable food for guests;

    (3)

    Serve at least one meal per day at least five days per week, with the exception of holidays, vacations, and periods of redecoration; and

    (4)

    Be prepared to serve food every hour they are open.

    (b)

    Brewpubs, as defined in section 6-2 and O.C.G.A. § 3-1-2(3), shall be allowed upon acquiring a consumption on the premises license.
