§ 66-126. Definitions.

  • The definitions found in the county development regulations and county zoning ordinance are incorporated herein by reference thereto.

    Coppermine WRF Service Areas: The area designated as the Coppermine WRF [Water Reuse Facility] Sewer Service Areas as shown and delineated on the map entitled Figure 5-2 Paulding County Anticipated Service Areas contained within the Paulding County Master Sewer Study and Plan, as adopted by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, said map being incorporated herein by reference thereto as part of this division and attached hereto as Exhibit "B". The official map shall be maintained as part of the Paulding County Master Sewer Study and Plan at the offices of the director of water system and shall be available for public inspection.

    Pumpkinvine WRF Service Areas: The area designated as the Pumpkinvine WRF [Water Reuse Facility] Sewer Service Areas as shown and delineated on the map entitled Figure 5-2 Paulding County Anticipated Service Areas contained within the Paulding County Master Sewer Study and Plan, as adopted by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, said map being incorporated herein by reference thereto as part of this division and attached hereto as Exhibit "B". The official map shall be maintained as part of the Paulding County Master Sewer Study and Plan at the offices of the director of water system and shall be available for public inspection.

    Sweetwater Drainage Basin: The area designated as the Sweetwater Drainage Basin shown on that certain map entitled Sweetwater Drainage Basin, said map being incorporated herein by reference thereto as part of this division and attached hereto as Exhibit "A". In addition thereto, said area is further shown and delineated as the Cobb County Outfall Service Area and Gothards Creek Service Area on the map entitled Figure 5-2 Paulding County Anticipated Service Areas contained within the Paulding County Master Sewer Study and Plan, as adopted by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, said map being incorporated herein by reference thereto as part of this division and attached hereto as Exhibit "B". These official maps shall be maintained at the offices of the director of the water system and shall be available for public inspection.

    Sewer availability: Sanitary sewer shall be deemed available for connection to a development/subdivision site if:

    (1)

    The proposed development is within the designated sewer service areas as shown on the Coppermine WRF Service Areas Map, the Pumpkinvine WRF Service Areas Map and the Sweetwater Drainage Basin Map [Cobb County Outfall/Gothards Creek Service Area]; and

    (2)

    The applicable sewer treatment facility has capacity available or will have it available in the future to accept the sewage; or

    (3)

    The Paulding County Development Waiver Review Committee declares that there is sewer availability, if, in the opinion of the Paulding County Development Waiver Review Committee, sewer availability will exist in the immediate or reasonably foreseeable future and requiring connection to sewer is in the best interests of the county.

    Sewer: Sewer shall be defined as the Paulding County Sanitary Sewer System.
